Music review: Thoranai (Tamil - Manisharma)

Echoing Thiruvilayaadal Aarambam’s Madura jilla, Manjasela mandakini is catchy time-pass, while Janani and Vijay Yesudas’ Pattucha is dreary and seeped in Manisharma’s Telugu styled structure. Pelican paravaigal is fairly rhythmic and makes for foot tapping listening. Vedi vedi saravedi is a rocking title song, molded along a Vijay intro number, but the pick of the soundtrack is Ranjith/ Udit Narayan’s Vaa chellam - Manisharma works his techno-arrangements craftily to score a groovy number. Thoranai has what a Vishal starrer deserves – massy and straight forward songs that aim at your feet with Manisharma scoring better than his other recent Tamil soundtracks.

did u know one thing i played thoranai songs with my kutty sathyam my sister child, first he smiled and start dancing for your songs. yet now kutty eswar was fully impressed in ur aaradi kathe song and your stunts and your fast in that movie.

we expect all this in thoranai. also i created more expectation in my family circle, friends circle, room friends, office colleges in more comedy. even i didnt talk anything about the movie but all waiting to see in big screen.

Hi Vishai... Messaging u after a long time.. heard the THORANAI songs.. they r really awesome... u know what, PELICAN PARAVAIGAL has been my pick of the album.. n i v e already started it murmuring.. Go ahead.. U REALLY ROCK!!!!!!!!! Im waiting for the movie!!!!!!!!!!

Esply va chellam is rockn..bt ranjith's voice is apt for d song than udit ji's..love d song.btw is it ur voice in d opening lines of d song???it ws very nice..u knw..whomeva's voice it is,it hs gt a romantic touch to it..very nice..Nd i like vedi vedi,pelican paravaigal.,nd manja sela mandhagini..
